Eight Dimensions of Wellness

Embracing Wellness

SAMHSA’s wellness initiative supports embracing the Eight Dimensions of Wellness — emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual — to achieve longevity and improved quality of life.

HLC believes that a person in recovery needs to address the domains of this wheel that have caused past problems in their addiction and/or recovery.

We provide referral or on-site resources to all local services that can address these challenges. Other programming based on requested needs are services for families and children and teens experiencing the effects of substance use.
