About the Center

HLC is located with an upscale Christian-based coffee shop and café, 200 feet from the Courthouse on main Street, that features stage and sound equipment for local talent on Open Mic Fridays & Saturdays.

ATTRACTION ZONE

Along with greeters, a large screen TV visible to the street sits adjacent to the café and includes short, inspirational videos to promote and increase recovery and support.

INFO ZONE

A wall of the Attraction Zone displays materials and information about:

• Recovery- Inpatient and Outpatient
• Counseling
• Intervention
• Supportive, sober living houses
• Seminars on the 8 aspects of wellness.
• Social & educational activities of the Center

ENGAGEMENT ZONE

HLC's 4,000 square feet hosts over 100 hours of recovery meetings each month and includes:

• 2 meeting rooms, capacities up to 100 and 24
• Large Social area
• Conference Room, capacity of 12
• Three private offices, Interview Rooms

HARMONY STORE

We have a complete selection of recovery literature as well as books, apparel & associated crafts that support the recovery message

WHO WORKS HERE?

HLC is staffed entirely by volunteers, many who were at one time “in the same boat” of compulsive and addictive lifestyles.  Our greeters and Peer Recovery Coaches were recruited from recovery programs chosen according to the admonition in Matthew 7:20- "by their fruits, you shall know them."  The coaches have at least two years of substance free living. 

Our Vision is to foster happy, joyous and free living for all who seek this kind of life.  We also assist family members or loved ones to facilitate their loved ones into recovery.
